Sushovan earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science.
He continued his research in modelling fatigue and fracture of metallic materials as a post-doc at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
For the last twenty years he has held both leadership and expert positions in multiple industry sectors, spread over USA, India and Europe.
Currently he works at GKN Aerospace, and is also affiliated with University West at Trollhättan, Sweden.
